2011 MINI Crossover Gets Green Light for Production POSTED AT 10:18 PM Just weeks after being revealed at the Paris Motor Show, the MINI Crossover concept has been given the green light for production. Small, maybe, but this crossover is being built just as tough as the rest of ‘em. It’s designed as a true 4x4, stretching over 13’ in length, and able to seat 4 passengers. The first versions of this vehicle will only be available in front-wheel drive, starting at around $29,000. The BMW Xdrive-derived all-wheel drive model should go on sale shortly after, starting at around $34,000. I definitely won’t be rushing out first thing to buy this little guy, but I am curious to see it in action. I hope it comes in more color options than just this swirl-design mess. Personally, I think they should make a convertible edition, and that can be the newer, better looking VW Thing. |

The Newest 'Poor Man's Car' POSTED AT 10:08 PM Photo Source: Jalopnik.com In today's economy, everybody's looking for a deal. That being said, I still don't know how popular the $2500 Tata Nano would be. Especially since, according to Jalopnik, they're aiming for a launch date of 2013, when hopefully our economy is back on the upswing. And, of course, if ever produced, this car will cost more than $2500 if it actually passes safety regulations. What's your take on the Tata Nano? |
